This is a refreshing, cooling and tasty drink for summer, which helps to re-hydrate and avoid sunstroke.
INGREDIENTS (Adjust to you taste)
1 or 1 1/2 litres water
1 large spoon tamarind pulp
2 spoons gur or brown sugar
1 teaspoon black salt (or ordinary salt)
1 teaspoon ground toasted cumin seeds (dry roast the seeds and grind to powder)
Mix the tamrind pulp with water, and remove the fibre and seeds. Mix together all other ingredients and adjust accourding to your taste. Place in the fridge and chill.
